Vegetarian Creamy cauliflower au gratin


  • 1/2 cup steamed carrots finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup steamed corn (without the cob)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 bell pepper and one capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon white flour
  • Some finely chopped parsley
  • A mixture of dry Italian herbs
  • Salt, pepper, paprika
  • Grated mozzarella cheese
  • Grated ginger and garlic one teaspoon each optional


Take a pan and add the white flour with the butter, when it starts to smell cooked, add the milk on low flame and stir well to avoid forming lumps, add the ginger and garlic, along with salt, pepper, paprika, fresh parsley, and dried herbs and bring to boil until it reaches a good consistency like a sauce.

Mix the cauliflower with other steamed vegetables in a dish and rub in some butter to enhance their taste, add the hot white sauce to it. Grease a baking dish, pour the vegetables with the white sauce in it. Add the grated cheese and top it with rings of green pepper and tomatoes as a garnish. Bake in a pre heated oven for 30 minutes until the top turns medium brown, serve with crisp garlic bread.
