  • Spicy Sesame Rice Bowl!  

 

If you’re a lover of Korean rice bowls, then this spicy delicacy is a must-have! For this recipe, you’ll need the following: 

1/3 c. Korean red pepper paste, 2 tbsp. toasted sesame oil, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. Sugar, 1 lb. beef top round, 3-crushed cloves, 12 oz. medium stemmed shiitake mushrooms, 1/4 c. rice vinegar, 5 oz. baby spinach and cooked white rice. 

The Procedure: 

In a cooking bowl, mix sesame oil, red pepper paste, sugar, soy sauce, 1/4 cup of water and garlic and let it rest until smooth; now, set aside ½ cup of sauce and later add beef and salt to the sauce. After that, leave it to marinate for 10 minutes or simply refrigerate the dish overnight. 

The next day, add the beef to a pressure cooked with the shitake mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes approximately. Now, while the beef is cooking toss some cucumbers in a pan with vinegar and salt and set it aside once done.  

After that, release the pressure and lay some spinach in your serving bowls. On top of the spinach add rice, drained cucumbers, beef, mushroom, kimchi, green onions, sesame seed. Now, add the remaining sauce and serve warm. 

 

  • Asian Chicken Rice Bowl 

 

Made in under 20 minutes, this Asian chicken rice bowl is another delectable dish, ideal for summer night parties. For this recipe, you’ll need the following: 

2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce, 1 packed Thai Veetee jasmine rice, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1/2 small diced white onion, 1 lb ground chicken along with sesame seeds and green onion for garnish. 

The Procedure: 

Medium heat a large pan and then add sesame oil and onion and sauté for around 1 minute. When hot, add chicken breast and sauté until the chicken is completely cooked and tender. After that, add sweet chilli, hoisin and soy sauce and stir until the chicken is completely coated in the sauce. Meanwhile, follow the instructions on the packet and cook veetee dine in rice as mentioned. 

Once done, carefully scoop out the rice and chicken and serve is as you wish inside your fancy bowl. In less than 20 minutes, you’ll have a delectable spicy meal for your dinner mates. 

 

  • Peanut Tofu Buddha Bowl 

 

 If your dinner party has vegans, then no need to disappoint them. We have just the delectable vegan bowl to blow your friends away! 

For the tofu buddha bowl, you’ll need: 

  • 1 cups carrots (shredded) 
  • 1 cup chickpeas (rinsed and drained) 
  • 2 cups broccoli florets 
  • 2 cups spinach leaves 
  • 2 teaspoons sesame or olive oil. 
  • 16 oz extra firm tofu, salt and pepper 

For the peanut sauce, you’ll need: 

  • 1–2 tablespoons sesame oil (toasted) 
  • 1/4 cup 100% maple syrup 
  • 2 teaspoons chilli garlic sauce 
  • ¼ cup of soy sauce (low sodium) 
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter 

The Procedure: 

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. and add cubed tofu on a non-stick baking sheet. After that cook it for 25 minutes and then place it in a small bowl.  

After this, make the sauce by whisking chilli garlic sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup, peanut butter, and sesame oil. Once it becomes smooth and creamy, add the pieces of tofu to the sauce and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes. While it marinates, mix the broccoli in olive oil, salt and pepper and let it roast in the oven. 

Once done, heat the rest of the olive oil and in a large pan and add tofu in batches along with the sauce. Now, once it becomes brown and golden, get ready to assemble it. Add brown rice in a few bowls and in each bowl add ¼ broccoli, beans and spinach. After that add the tofu and peanut sauce and your healthy vegan dish is ready to be served. 

 

  • Steak Fajita Bowl with Garlic Lime Rice 

 

This homemade steak fajita bowl packs a protein-packed meal that tastes way better than any chipotle bowls. To make this delicacy, you’ll need: 

For garlic-lime rice: 

1 tablespoon butter, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 1/2 cups parboiled rice, 2 3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth, 3tbs lime juice, salt, and cilantro. 

For the steak bowl: 

1 prepared steak fajitas crushed up tortilla chips, black beans, hot sauce, grilled veggies, guacamole, sour cream, grilled corn. 

Procedure: 

Wash the rice in a mesh strainer and leave it under cold water for 120 seconds. After that, rub the rice to remove starch and let it set. Now, heat the butter in a pan and add the rice to it and stir for 2-3 minutes. Once done, add garlic and cook until you smell the garlic. Next, add chicken broth, lime, salt and boil until the lumps start breaking up. After that, cover and cook the rice for 12-15 minutes. Then let it cool before adding cilantro. 

After that, arrange the steak and rice in the bowl and get creative. You can present and serve this dish any way you like! 

 

  • The Vegan Buddha Bowl 

 

Another option for a vegan delicacy is this scrumptious vegan buddha bowl. For this one, you will need the following: 

Ingredients: 

  • Quinoa 
  • 1 Tsp Chili Powder 
  • 2 cups of water 
  • 1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika 
  • 1/8 Tsp Turmeric 
  • 1/2 Tsp Oregano 
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt 
  • Juice from 1/2 Lemon 
  • 1/2 Tsp Paprika 
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper 
  • 2tbs of olive oil 
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro 
  • Avocadoes, veggies and sesame seeds. 

The procedure: 

Start with boiling the water to cook the quinoa. Once it's done, preheat your oven to 425 and add chickpeas along with the spices and cook for 15-20 minutes. Once it is done, set it aside to cool. Next, to make the dressing, add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. After that, taste and adjust seasoning to your liking. 

Once done, assemble it all in the Buddha bowl; for this add the chickpeas, veggies, avocadoes and red pepper sauce. After that, sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve hot. 

 

  • Chicken Fried Rice Bowl 

 

If you’re looking to cook something simple, delicious yet comforting, there is nothing better than a chicken fried rice bowl. For this, you will need: 

  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables 
  • 2 cups chicken fillet, chopped 
  • 3 cups cooked rice 
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr Liquid Seasoning 
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped 
  • Optional: 
  • 1/2 cup cashew 

Procedure: 

Start with sautéing onions over a cooking pan in high heat. Once done, add mixed veggies and cook thoroughly. After that, mix chicken fillets with pepper and Knorr Liquid Seasoning and sauté until completely cooked. Next, add cashews, cooked rice along with salt and pepper and stir hard.
